Camping at Lava Hot Springs 2014

It was finals week and Emily and I had Tuesday off so we left Monday afternoon and went camping at Lava Hot Springs! We had a great time!

Lava Hot Springs is about an hour and a half from Rexburg
Emily saw these geese at the campsite and had to take a picture. She loves geese. She scared them out of our campsite

 Run geese run!

 Setting up our tent
Snuggles decided to relax in the shade
Emily testing out our air matress
We decided to go on a run
We left Snuggles in the tent
I am king of the rock
Snuggles was sound asleep when we got back from our run
We ran about 3 miles and even ran up a huge hill
We played monopoly deal when we got back

Snuggles was scared of the fire so she ran away really far away
Emily rescued Snuggles and they were happy to find each other
we roasted polish sausages on the fire
We also tried roasting marshmallows and putting them in an oreo cookie. We thought it was very tasty

 Brushing our teeth

Emily had a cool hair mustache when she woke up

This is the hill we ran up
We went on a hike to the L at the top of a mountain near Lava Hot Springs
The trail was steep and not very well groomed. It was also slick and muddy from melted snow.

We carried Snuggles because she got tired

I put Snuggles in my backpack so she could get a ride

 We made it!

Look at Snuggles in this picture lol!

That L is where we hiked to

We gave Snuggles a bath when we got home

We bought ticket to ride with a gift card Emily's parents gave us for Christmas. It is one of our new favorite games.
We tried Papa Murphy's new pan pizza and watched the Hobbit 2. It was a good way to relax after camping.
