Yellowstone Vacation and more!

Hello everyone! July has been a busy month for us! We finished our classes for the semester and will start new ones in September. Emily has been busy with her work as a hairstylist at Great Clips, she is such a hard worker. I am enjoying some free time as I work part time at HAS inc. and try to get in some more P.T. observation hours. I am also volunteering with a program that helps old people do exercises, it is fun. Snuggles has been eating a lot lately! I guess that is a good thing except that it makes her have to use the bathroom more often haha! We had some fun times this month that went by way too fast!
We bought a crazy long straw and we has fun drinking juice with it.

For the 4th of July we made American Flag cinnamon rolls. They turned out pretty good and tasted pretty good too.
We had a BBQ with the Kjelstroms and Chad and we had a ton of food. We had hamburgers, hot dogs, ka-bobs, chips and cinnamon rolls. Needless to say we all overate.
After eating we played some clue. We were all pretty tired but it was fun nontheless.
Chad loves Snuggles... and Snuggles loves Chad
Emily and Snuggles both blend into the carpet:) My two girls are so cute!
We are still training for our half-marathon in September... wish us luck!
There was a flood here in Rexburg, it rained like 2 inches in 15 minutes. Campus flooded pretty bad and so did a lot of apartments at the bottom of the hill. Our apartment was fine though.

We went swimming in the Firehole River in Yellowstone with my Family. It was great fun swimming against the current. There was one part that was scary though when Ellaina and Emily were both pulled under by the current. They were OK though.
We had a nice picnic before swimming.
Emily found a chipmunk friend. We caught it, cooked it and fed it to Snuggles... Just kidding, we didn't catch it, Emily just fed it some fritos.

Emily is amazed at all the geothermal activity in Yellowstone. We all were.

The second day we were in Yellowstone was really windy. Lots of people's hats were blown off into the geysers and hot pools.
This is Spasm geyser behind us.
This is the crater of a huge geyser that went off a long time ago. It said that when it went off it went hundreds of feet into the air. Luckily it hasn't gone off in awhile.

We saw Old Faithful. It goes off about every 70 minutes or so.

Emily and I got sunburned pretty bad. Emily worse than me. We bought some aloe vera that helped. However our skin still peeled. Emily's nose was so burnt that it got all hard and crusty and then the skin came off... it was awesome.
My awesome parents were the ones that took us on this awesome trip. They also took us all out to dinner at a yummy BBQ place in West Yellowstone.

The whole family(except for Cory) with a ton of food.

Me and my Dad. He is awesome! He has a cool Indiana Jones hat too.

Emily was one happy Girl this trip! She had a blast taking pictures and playing games and stuff.

You can see an osprey nest on those rocks if you look carefully

We rode a motor boat this day.
As you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed myself
We all got a turn to drive the boat
 Da Mama
Chad and my Dad decided to go on the rowboat instead of the motorboat. It looked hard because it was so windy that day.

This is a natural bridge that we hiked to

We went to Bear World with Arlee and Tuawana
This is Borris the Bear. He is a good bear

 This is Beary the bear

We had fun feeding the deer grass at the petting zoo

 Mohawk Chicken

Emily had some training for 3 days in Pocatello. I went with her and hung out with Snuggles while Emily went to class. In the evenings we played racquetball and watched Harry Potter. It was a fun little trip.

I hiked up a little mountain near the ISU campus
