Christmas Vacation

This, is Aaron. I know it has been a bit since I have posted. For that reason I am going to make this post especially awesome:) We spent Christmas at my parents house. We had fun playing games with everyone, our favorites were a game called Stupor, where you have to think faster than the other players, and we also enjoyed playing games like Risk, Dominion and BANG! On Christmas Day we had the opportunity to Skype with my little brother Chad who is on his mission in Georgia. He was fun to talk to and it appears he is thoroughly enjoying his mission. We then opened presents, we received way too many gifts! All of which we are grateful for! Our favorites have been our new Digital piano on which I am reviving my piano skills and Emily is learning to play better too! I am currently working on learning some songs from the Twilight saga in order to impress Emily, I also just enjoy the songs too. I also tried out our new griddle, it was so nice not having the pancakes stick to the pan... and I can now cook about 12 slices of bacon at once instead of just 3 (not saying that we eat that much bacon, but just knowing we can cook that much is sweet, or fatty whichever you like best.) We really enjoyed our time with my family. We saw the Hobbit. We both liked it. I played basketball and Racquetball with my Dad and brothers quite a few times.

I have to say that we did our Family Christmas book which includes a scripture, song and Christmas story for each day leading up to Christmas. I would always fall asleep during the stories but it was still a great way to feel the Christmas spirit.

We also got the Wii Fit, it is fun and quite good exercise. It says that I am obese... who knew? It says I must lose like 65 pounds to get to my healthy body weight. We also enjoy playing our new Mario and Donkey Kong games on the Wii.

Emily is doing great with her leg. She now walks around the house without her crutches! She is excited to start beauty school next week. We just finished watching the Star Wars saga. Emily and I enjoyed watching them together. I have succeeded in helping her see that Star Wars is cool and has a great story! We have now been married for 5 months and we are loving every minute of it!

Snuggles just got a haircut and looks like a star. All the boy dogs look at her as she passes... she is quite the head turner:) Snuggles was sick last night and got up about every hour, we felt sorry for her and us (because of a lack of sleep) Luckily she is feeling a lot better.

I start school on Monday, I am taking Anatomy 2, Biostatistics, an English class, a Natural Disasters class and Family foundations. It should keep me busy and be fun. I still have my custodial job in the mornings and I quite enjoy it, I change lights, vacuum, mop floors, the works.

My Huge Reeses Emily gave to me:)
It has been really cold here. It got down to -9 a few days ago. We are lucky to have a heated apartment and a hot tub (the hot tub is a figment of my imagination...).
 Our Pop-Tart gingerbread houses
Merry Christmas!
