Emily got off school early, so we went to Yellowstone! We ate tin foil dinners. It was rainy but it stopped raining just long enough for us to set up camp and cook dinner. We love our tent!
There is my camper wife! She is a great camper. She didn't used to like camping but after she met me she learned to like it. It got a bit chilly at night and it was rainy but we stayed pretty warm with sleeping bags and blankets.
Yellowstone Lake
This is a "Buff Buff" My little (now big in height) brother Cory would call them "Buff Buffs."
This is a little mud pot that looks like a giant's stew. I mean the stick looks like a spoon or something that a giant would use.
This is the dragon tongue because the water splatters and it looks like a dragon tongue slithering in and out. It sounded like a dragon too (it scared Snuggles).
This is my personal favorite: The Mud Volcano. It used to be a mud geyser but because of earthquakes it doesn't explode anymore.
I got a picture when they weren't looking
This is Fred the Buff Buffalo
Emily liked the baby ones
Fred the buff Buffalo thought the grass was greener on the other side... a very common misconception.
Snuggles was growling at Fred's cousin, Pancho, little did she know that Pancho is buffer than Fred. She really did growl at the buffalo. Emily and I were like Snuggles wouldn't stand a chance against Pancho.
Milk!
Upper Falls
That is a lot of water! Where does it come from? Maybe Yellowstone lake
This is myself and a not so young doggy
Emily loved the waterfalls! She said "I didn't know Yellowstone had waterfalls." She now wants to see every waterfall in the U.S.
This is an Elk, he is sitting down eating the grass. He weighs 867 pounds, he is 15 years old and drives a chevy astro...
This Elk was a little camara shy and hid his face in the grass.
The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
Lower Falls, at the brink of the falls
This photo looks like it belongs on a postcard
Actually... this one definitely belongs on a postcard
We love each other soooooo muuuuuch!
I am happy
Emily is happy
