Dear World,
I would just like to let everyone know there are 39 days until Aaron and I get married for time and all eternity. Satan sees how close we are to making eternal covenants with our heavenly father. He seems to think it quite funny to make life hard for us. Well News Flash satan, Aaron and I have been waiting our entire lifes for this day. We are not just going to throw eternity with eachother out the window. Nor are we going to put it off. So if you know what is best, you would back the heck off. Aaron and I are going to get married on August 4th, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Denver LDS temple for time and all eternity whether you like it or not. If you knew what was best you would move on. We are doing everything we can to keep the spirit with us at ALL times. We have been reading 4 chapters of the Book of Mormon everyday, we made it to Alma today!! We have set up very strict standards for ourselves, we even wrote them down and gave eachother a copy, promising not to break any of the rules under ANY circumstances. Guess what else satan? I have been going to the temple almost every morning, thats 2 hours where you can't even reach me. Guess what dude, I've been listening to gospel music too. You know what all this means? It means that the Holy Ghost is with me helping me and protecting me from evils like you. So this is a personal letter from me to you telling you to back off because Aaron and I are going to make sacred covenants with the Lord in 39 days, 11 hours, and 43 minutes. Get over it. Jesus won, you lost. Its about time you realized that.

It has been a bit since I have blogged. It has been quite busy for these last few weeks. We went to Utah for Emily's bridal shower a few weeks ago. Last weekend we went to Nampa to go to Chantelle's baby shower.      I have been busy with school and work and getting ready for the wedding. It is only 6 weeks away! I am very excited to marry the love of my life for time and all eternity in a little over a month. We have our apartment all set up and everything is ready for us to move in on August 22nd. Our apartment is going to be awesome and it won't be full of dirty dishes! We finished watching Avatar the Last Airbender together and now we will have to find another show to watch.

Last week my little brother Cory, and my friend Nathaniel came up from Coloroado to visit us. We went to Applebees with them, played games and just had a great time. We went to Bear world and saw some bears. We even fed Cory to the bears! (Just Kidding). I went to the dunes with Cory and Nathaniel and we jumped and rolled off them and we got sand everywhere.

Last night we went to Idaho Falls for Bobby Steven's Birthday, then we ate cake at their place and stayed up too late. Needless to say it was hard to get up for work in the morning. It was nice of them to invite us.

We have been slowly stocking up on stuff for our new house and we have even gotten a few wedding presents already. We got Emily's Pots and Pans set that she wanted yesterday with help from a few bridal shower gifts. Life is great! I just love Emily so much, she means the world to me and I love her and I love trying to make her happy. She means the world to me and she is the best!

There are 66 days until our wedding. In a way that seems like forever but at the same time its only 2 months.  I love Aaron more and more everyday. He does these little things that are so cute and special. This morning I woke up to a little brown box that said To: Emily, Love: Aaron with little hearts drawn around. I excitedly opened the box to see this enormous cinnamon roll. Now this might not seem that special to you but it was the sweetest thing ever. We have been going to Great Harvest quite often trying to get one of these cinnamon rolls and everytime we go they are out of them. So he went early this morning and got me one. I love him so much. He is the first thought when i wake up and the last thought before I go to bed. I love him so much it hurts. I want to be with him ALL the time. He is so amazing and perfect. I am grateful he is in my life. I can not wait to marry him, to be with him as we start a family, to watch him grow and become a physical therapist, to watch him be a father, to watch him grow old, to be with him forever, always taking care of him and making him happy. His happiness is so contagious. He is such a happy person. I can not wait to stand across that alter and marry him for time and all eternity, knowing that goodbye will never be a part of our vocabulary, but instead until we meet again. I look forward to this life and the next with him. The person that he is and the person that he makes me become when I am with him, well its just perfect. I did not know such happiness or love was possible. Some say we are only getting married to get married, that we fell in love to fast for any other explanation. Well let me tell you that I am not getting married just to get married. I fell in love with this boy so quickly, that may cause question for some but let me tell you, God led us too each other, he led me to the most perfect and amazing person that exists. My heart swells with so much love I feel like it might burst. He completes me in a way that only he could. God is at the center of our relationship. He has helped us to grow together as a couple. I wish everyone could feel this love we have. No one could possibly feel this much love though. I know this is something only Aaron and I could have. It isn't possible to fit together more perfectly. Though 66 days may be long, I get to spend those 66 days with Aaron so I am ok with that. I am so excited to get our own apartment and have our own family. Live our lives the way we want to. I love him so much, I thank my Heavenly Father for guiding me to him, for blessing me to be with him. I thank his parents for raising him so well and helping him to grow and become the person he is today. Here is to our future. Our beautiful bright and glorious future! I love you so much Aaron Brent Vernon!!!

Visiting Christie, Great Grandma Thompson, and Great Grandpa Thompson!!

It was really special to be able to visit these graves, after so many years. We were all very glad we were able to visit them this weekend.

After seeing the quilt Rhonda made for baby Roberts, I asked her if she would teach me how to quilt. She said she would. I am so excited to learn how to quilt!! :)

This was a great weekend!

Last night, Emily made Steak! She used a special sauce and seasoning so it was quite tasty. I am going to get fat if she keeps cooking like she does all the time. Emily says that she hopes I get fat because that will mean she is a really good cook. haha. We then watched a rather strange play put on by students about some quilter pioneers. It was a musical and we both don't like musicals very much. It was still fun though.

Emily and I started playing Lego Harry Potter together. There is a part when you can be Scabbers the rat, Ron Weasley's pet rat. I would change into the rat and chase Emily all over the screen. She got scared so I stopped doing it. I also hate rats so it wasn't hard for me to stop. We ate one of the best Mac'n'cheese dinners ever. It was so good because we used real butter. Tonight, we are going to the school play "The Quilters," it is about some pioneers, it should be good. I haven't seen Emily since yesterday and it is almost 5:00! I miss her:) Well, this is going to be a busy week. Over and out.
